Stephanie Wetzel

Stephanie Wetzel is a treasured member of the Bible Department at King’s Academy in Sunnyvale, teaching 8th and 9th grade students with passion and purpose. In her classroom, she does far more than teach lessons—she ignites a love for God’s Word and nurtures the growth of her students’ faith. She takes time to truly know each student, building relationships that make them feel valued and cared for. It is no wonder that so many proudly say she is their favorite teacher.

Her dedication extends well beyond the classroom. Stephanie faithfully coaches multiple sports throughout the year, and when she’s not on the sidelines, she’s in the stands—supporting students at athletic competitions, performances, and art showcases. She celebrates their gifts in every setting, reminding them that their talents matter and that who they are matters even more.

Stephanie embodies what it means to be an outstanding teacher. She encourages, invests, and inspires in countless ways, making sure every student knows they are seen, known, and loved. We are deeply grateful for her ministry and proud to honor her as a remarkable example of Christ-centered teaching.
