Teacher of the Month!

Miss Ashley Moog

At Redwood Christian Schools, our TK teacher, Miss Moog, brings learning to life through joyful, hands-on experiences. One of her true superpowers is getting all 18 of her young students to participate with full engagement and respect, making every activity meaningful. She understands the power of intentional play and designs themed units—like making homemade apple pie—that inspire a child’s innate sense of wonder and joy. Her creative classroom includes art projects, interactive lessons, and special activities such as Taco Tuesday, where students try homemade tacos and learn Spanish vocabulary. Throughout the year, she also teaches American Sign Language, and her students leave TK knowing an impressive amount of ASL. Most importantly, at our Christian school, Miss Moog not only teaches her students about Jesus—she models what it looks like to walk with Him. Parents often share that their TK children are leading faith conversations at home—beautiful proof of the impact happening every day in her classroom.
